Give to St. Kate's Day is Nov. 1!

Wednesday, November 1 is our 14th annual Give to St. Kate’s Day! Each fall, the St. SWAGÊÓƵ University community comes together for our biggest annual day of giving in support of our students.

On Give to St. Kate’s Day, our community shows up to participate in giving challenges throughout the day, dollar-for-dollar donation matches, a student scavenger hunt, and more. This year’s giving challenges include our New Donor Challenge, Reunion Challenge, and Recent Graduate Challenge. Also, help us turn the country purple with a donor from every state for the 50 State Challenge! At the end of the day, hundreds of purple and yellow ribbons — each one honoring the generosity of a single donor — hang from the atrium railings in the CdC. All gifts to the Katie Fund support our highest priority: the scholarships our hard-working students deserve. 

Give to St. Kate’s Day 2023 represents a uniquely impactful moment in University history. It’s  our most important day of giving yet because November 1 also marks the final day of LEAD & INFLUENCE: The Campaign for the Next Level of Excellence. This historic, multi-year campaign set out with the extraordinary goal of raising $130 million in support of four key priorities for the future of St. Kate’s: Our Students, Our Faculty, Our Place, and the Katie Fund. To date, we have raised over $125 million and, on Give to St. Kate’s Day 2023, we hope to cross that finish line and close the campaign with a bang. 

In recognition of the particular significance of this year’s Give to St. Kate’s Day, we have just one goal: to raise 100 $5,000 scholarships for our students. Every $5,000 raised on November 1 translates to one student scholarship. Here’s how you can help:

  • Double the impact of your gift with dollar-for-dollar matches and giving challenges throughout the day.
  • Spread the word on social media with #GoKatieGive and #mystkates.
