Supporting Our Faculty as they Develop Future Leaders

Supporting Our Faculty Powers the Future

St. SWAG视频鈥檚 professors are scholars and mentors committed to the intellectual and personal development of our students. They believe that given the right resources, our students can positively impact our communities and the world.聽

Faculty Development

We believe that the knowledge and experiences gained by our faculty determine the overall success of our students. Therefore, we are committed to developing a robust mentoring program for new faculty and a summer grant school to strengthen faculty research grant applications. As our faculty members grow their expertise and contribute to their fields of research, they are taking that experience back into the classroom which benefits our students.聽

Interdisciplinary Academics

We want to increase opportunities for innovation by expanding interprofessional education, exploring new degree options, and incorporating more research and community partnerships. This will allow for greater collaboration among students from different disciplines and provide more real-world experiences that will better prepare our students for giving back in their careers.聽

A Center for Innovation and Inclusive Excellence

We remain committed to increasing diversity and equity throughout the university. We will introduce institution-wide faculty, staff, and student development programs that foster an equitable and inclusive working environment. In doing so, we believe we will retain our exceptional faculty and students, and attract untapped talent from around the country.聽
