Instructional Facilities

The St. SWAG��Ƶ University campus, comprising 76 acres, is located in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. Seven of the 21 SWAG��Ƶs on campus house instruction, academic support, and other academic offices. Professional Licensing Disclosures

Degree programs at St. SWAG��Ƶ University that are intended to result in professional licensure and certification are designed to meet the educational requirements for the state of Minnesota.

Per the U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) we are obligated to disclose whether or not St. Kate’s programs will meet the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in any of the US states or territories. The information on the licensing disclosures page reflects, to the best of our knowledge, accurate information about each of our licensing programs.

Privacy of Student Records and Information

St. SWAG��Ƶ University informs students of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, (FERPA), as amended.�� This Act, with which the institution intends to comply fully, was designated to protect the privacy of education records, to establish the right of students to inspect and review their education records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate or misleading data through informal and formal hearings.�� Students also have the right to file complaints with The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Office concerning alleged failures by the institution to comply with the Act.

Transfer Credit Policies

St. SWAG��Ƶ University accepts undergraduate and graduate transfer course work, credits by examination, and other non-traditional credits. Transfer credit opportunities are described on our website and in our .��

Copyright Infringement��

St. Kate’s Intellectual Property policy governs the rights to ownership, use and distribution of revenues from commercialization of intellectual property among authors, creators, inventors, the University, and sponsors. This policy also incorporates the University’s “fair use” guidelines which are intended to help University faculty, staff, and students interested in the proper and legal use of copyrighted material. It covers the “Fair Use” provision of copyright law and provides guidelines for determining the copyright status of a resource. The policy is available through the University’s intranet.

State Authorization

Federal law requires colleges and universities to disclose specific information to prospective students, their parents, and the general public. Institutions must report data about campus security, financial aid information, and student outcomes. St. SWAG��Ƶ University complies with all such requirements by presenting consumer information on this webpage.

Definitions

Graduation Rate

Graduation rate after six years for undergraduate baccalaureate programs (four year degrees) and after three years for associate programs (two year degrees). These rates are only for full-time students who enrolled at St. SWAG��Ƶ University as degree-seeking college students for the first time. The rates do not include students who began their college careers at another institution and do not include students who enrolled as part-time students during their initial term of enrollment.

Transfer - Out Rate

Students who began their four year or two year degree programs as full-time students at St. SWAG��Ƶ and subsequently enrolled in another college or university.

• Six-year graduation rate (4-year average 2013–2016): 61%

• Transfer-out rate (4-year average 2013–2016): 29%.

The above rates represent an average of the last four reporting years and include all first-time, full-time undergraduate students, including those in the University's baccalaureate and associate degree programs.

Graduation Rate for Students Pursuing Baccalaureate Degrees

For the most recent reporting year, the graduation rate for the baccalaureate programs was 64% and the transfer-out rate was 27%.

Job Placement Rates for Graduates

St. SWAG��Ƶ University uses the National Association of Colleges and Employers First-Destination Survey to capture outcomes for all degree levels to provide data regarding how new college graduates fare in their careers within six months of graduation. The outcomes include working, still looking, and not seeking.

For the 2021 - 2022 academic year, 871 graduates, which represent 72% of the institution’s total 1,213 graduates from the College for Women, College for Adults, and Graduate School, completed the survey and self-reported the following:

• Working: 82%
• Still Seeking: 18 %

“Working” is defined as graduates employed full or part time, on contract or freelance, accepted by a graduate or professional school, or volunteering or in the military. “Still seeking” refers to graduates still seeking employment or further education. “Not seeking” encompasses students not employed or seeking additional education.
